Our Purpose

Confederation of International Accreditation Commission- CIAC exists to assure the quality and assist in the improvement of the institution we accredit by establishing an organizational witness to their credibility of performance and integrity with checking their standing of quality assurance & academics which is guided by continues improvement program for the applicant.

We are governed by a Board of Directors & President. They set accreditation standards, monitor compliance, and award accreditation certificates. Accreditation certificates are awarded only upon recommendation by the Board of Commissioners.

On site visits to applicant institutions are completed by CIAC representatives to gather data for the Board of Commissioners. Recommendations are then made to the Executive Board of Directors / President for a final decision.

Philosophy

The Confederation of International Accreditation Commission- CIAC is a professional, self-financed, non-profit accreditation organization whose philosophy is to demonstrate accountability to the consuming public for services obtained in non-traditional & traditional institutions. This accountability is demonstrated by institutions that are accredited by CIAC, having documented evidence of compliance with CIAC standards of structure and governance, material resources, policies, faculty and curriculum.

Purpose

  • To provide a mechanism whereby educational institutions demonstrate that they meet at least minimal standards of performance & checking their Quality Assurance.
  • To provide consultation services that enable educational institutions to meet accepted standards of performance.
  • To provide the consuming public with the current status of institutions which have applied to CIAC for accreditation.
  • To provide a centralized information and referral source for issues that concern accredited institutions and non-traditional students.
