Dr. Deshpriya has played a very pivotal role in world peace working through UN and its guidelines. He is the Director General of SUNFO- Sri Lanka United Nations Friendship Organization and has associated with CIAC and its causes towards world peace & diplomacy. He has been instrumental in establishing cordial relationship with diplomatic missions, UN & other international peace organizations, harmony & world peace through dialogue, etc. and carry the message of United Nations to third world countries through CIAC to sustain the standards of basic amenities in these regions. He is the resource person to provide guidance, assistance, grants, donations and facilities to initiate, conduct and develop activities pertaining to peace & harmony of CIAC. He works towards motivating the communities at large to observe and live according to the principles of the United Nations.
